Integrated Qigong, Tai ji and Shaolin Gongfu

The health cultivation art of qigong is the root and foundation of taiji, an internal martial and cultivation art, and of shaolin gongfu, a more external martial and cultivation art. These qigong classes in Glenwood Springs integrate these arts into a seamless practice and ‘workout.’ Each art will be emphasized in turn and studied and practiced more specifically as well. Open to all, from beginners to advanced, each class will have time for individual practice and instruction.

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Saturdays: 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Kuan Yin Standing and Sitting Qigong

This qigong form is guided by a sense of the sacredness of your body, and how this awareness can open your heart. The fluid and relaxing movements guide the qi in releasing the suppleness and compassion of one’s original heart. This practice helps induce a relaxation response that may positively impact the body’s natural healing ability and increase your sense of balance in a seemingly stressful world.
