Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy FOR WOMEN in Colorado
Located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, our women’s holistic wellness center employs guided psychedelic therapy to help heal trauma and treat PTSD, anxiety, depression or simply the stress of everyday life. When used skillfully in a controlled environment, high-quality cannabis, ketamine or psilocybin enables participants to turn inward, track inner sensations, resolve tensions deep within the body, and release trauma.

Cannabis-Assisted Therapy
Cannabis has been often misunderstood and misused, it is a powerful plant medicine with psychedelic properties. Even experienced recreational cannabis users are surprised by the powerful effects when used in a therapeutic setting. Our professional credentialed psychedelic therapists possesses a wide range of expertise in psychedelic harm reduction, medicine practices, and integration services.
Clients often report the feeling of being very present while retaining agency and experiencing increased awareness of the sensations in their body. This can allow repressed emotions and memories to arise from the unconscious mind to be felt and processed. Deep relaxation leads the somatic release of stored trauma and stress. These sessions are somatic and provide an opportunity for healing, regulating of the nervous system, building resilience, and learning healthier patterns. Clients commonly report experiences that are as potent and psychedelic as MDMA, Psilocybin, Ayahuasca and even DMT. https://medicinalmindfulness.org
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy
Ketamine is a synthetic pharmaceutical compound that is classified as a dissociative anesthetic. It was approved by the FDA in 1970. It is widely used in hospitals and medical offices for anesthesia and sedation because of its rapid onset, proven favorable safety profile, and short duration of action.
In the last two decades, ketamine has been increasingly used at low doses that do not induce anesthesia as an off-label treatment for mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and substance use disorder. Ketamine’s use as off-label means that it has not been approved by the FDA for these indications. Many medications are used off-label safely and effectively. 4Winds works closely with Jaelin Mayer on site for ketamine therapy. https://www.entheosaspen.com/ketamine-assisted-therapy
Psilocybin Support Services
In November of 2022, voters in Colorado passed Proposition 122 which legalized the personal use of several psychedelic natural medicines, including psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline (San Pedro, but not peyote), dimethyltryptamine (DMT), and ibogaine for people aged 21 years and older. This allows for the personal possession, growing, uncompensated sharing, and ingestion of these natural medicines. It does NOT allow to the sale of psilocybin mushrooms or any other natural medicines, nor the use by individuals under the age of 21. Under this new state law, 4Winds is able to offer support services to individuals and groups engaged in the use of psilocybin under the personal use provision of Proposition 122 within the context of healing and personal or spiritual growth. This includes bona fide support services, spiritual guidance, psychedelic preparation and integration coaching, and bona fide harm reduction.
Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy services at licensed healing centers will be legally available in Colorado at the end of 2024, once the State has finalized the rules and regulations.

4Winds Farm takes community and psychedelic safety very seriously. 4Winds Farm only provides cannabis services and only in legal settings, and our intention is to step into working with other psychedelic medicines only when it is legal to do so. Community sustainability is our highest priority. We do not work with or provide illegal substances. As a harm-reduction program, we support members and clients who choose to personally use illicit substances through education and psychological support services. What you do in your own home and on your own time is generally none of our business as long as you are not harming yourself or others.
Please note, our cannabis-related programs are not designed to safely support other psychedelic substance use, nor would it be legal for us to do so. Please support the success of our program and the psychedelic legalization movement by respecting our boundaries around illicit substance use.
Bringing or consuming illicit substances and/or alcohol is expressly forbidden before, during, after, or around any 4Winds Farm event, therapy session, program, or training retreat.
The misuse or overuse of pharmaceuticals, supplements, tobacco products outside of designated areas, and other substances that may interfere with the safe use of cannabis or breathwork practices is also expressly forbidden.
Cannabis use is only allowed in designated areas or at designated times at specified events, sessions or training retreats.
A designated driver after imbibing cannabis is always required until the next day after use.
Using, bringing, and/or offering an illicit substance to another participant at any of our events is considered a form of harassment. For safety reasons, participants are encouraged to speak to a 4Winds Farm facilitator if they see or hear anything related to inappropriate substance use.
4Winds Farm facilitators are trained to tell the difference between illicit substance use and mental health emergencies. Participants who use or bring any illicit substance on 4Winds Farm property will be immediately assessed for safety and then either asked to leave or provided a taxi service, at their expense, if intoxicated. Participants asked to leave will be liable for any costs associated with disrupting any of our programs or events. No refunds will be issued to a participant asked to leave. Certain conditions may be required to participate further in the program, including but not limited to medicine fasting.
Clients seeking 4Winds Farm services for addiction treatment are required to speak to an 4Winds Farm representative before attending any of our programs or events. While there is significant evidence that cannabis and other psychedelics can be used to treat addiction safely and effectively, treating addiction requires a specific and very structured protocol to ensure the safety of clients and our community. Participating in our services requires a commitment to abstinence, the ongoing support of a certified addiction counselor, and an openness to receiving feedback when addictive traits or behaviors are witnessed. 4Winds Farm can refer clients to psychedelic-friendly addiction counselors for additional mental health support.
