Residential recovery program

Our women’s only 30 to 90-day farm and work-based residential recovery programs are for those seeking a wholistic approach for the integration of the physical, psycho-emotional, energetic and spiritual aspects of their health and well-being. These customized programs benefit those who are seeking a deeper understanding of co-occurring mental health issues, traumas, bipolar and depression, addiction, anxiety and lack of energy/vitality. Our methods do not require compliance to any one theoretical model or method of treatment. Each patient is evaluated with a full psychosocial and interpersonal assessment prior to treatment to determine a customized approach to their recovery plan. Our specialists then coordinate, assess progress, and make ongoing treatment recommendations for the patient(s)/clients according to their customized recovery plan.

There are daily purposeful farm work-based sessions throughout the day that include gardening and care for the farm animals. Woven throughout daily ‘tasks’ are the concepts and practices of quiet mindfulness, ‘zen/qigong’ state of being present and ‘one’ with the ‘work’.

Therapy and educational sessions may include somatic experiencing (SE), meditation practices, cultural exploration, dietary/cooking/lifestyle skills, nutrition, acupuncture, massage, medical qigong, taijiquan, yoga, art, medicine wheel equine and recreational therapies. An understanding of the bodies chakra system, archetypal patterns, brain, breath and nervous systems will be explored.

Private lodging, organic locally sourced meals, and 2 to 3 therapeutic and educational sessions per day are included. In practicing complementary, alternative and integrative medicine, we seek to support the care of your existing physicians and therapists. If you do not see your specific condition listed, we may still be able to give you the care you need; if not, we will refer you to the right place for you.

We are not

An in-patient mental health facility, nor do we take mandated clients from correctional facilities. All clients are admitted on a voluntary basis, and screened for their desire to recover their health and wellbeing.
